NDU SUG Elections 2025: Electoral Committee Leadership Confirmed, Faculties Receive Key Positions

The 2025 NDU SUG election season officially kicked off today as the Students’ Union Government held a congress at LT1 to inaugurate members of the Electoral Committee and allocate key positions across faculties.

During the congress, the SUG President, Tamaratare Apere, formally confirmed the appointment of Aida Eyerindideke from the Faculty of Engineering as Chairman of the SUG Electoral Committee.
Her appointment marks the beginning of the administrative process leading up to what is expected to be a highly participatory and transparent election year.

Alongside the chairmanship, other key ELECO appointments were also assigned to reflect broad faculty representation:

These appointments are expected to strengthen administrative balance within the committee and promote an inclusive, inter-faculty approach as election preparations advance.
