Students of Niger Delta University with a passion for music, rap, freestyle, songwriting, and performance now have an opportunity to put their talent on display as the Soundcity Music Competition officially opens entries for aspiring artistes on the island.

The competition, organized under the Bigi Music Tour in collaboration with Soundcity, is inviting talented students to participate by creating and sharing original performance videos.

For students who have always wanted a platform to showcase their lyrical skills, creativity, and stage presence, this may be an opportunity worth exploring.

How to Participate

Participants are expected to follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the Official Theme Song

Download the official Bigi theme song through the links available on Soundcity Africa or Drink Bigi platforms.

Step 2: Record Your Performance Video

Create a video that includes:

  • A freestyle or written verse
  • Video length between 30–60 seconds

Participants are encouraged to bring originality and creativity to their entries.

Step 3: Purchase Bigi Flavours and Post

Participants are required to:

  • Purchase 3 different packs of Bigi flavours
  • Post their video on:
    • TikTok (primary platform)
    • Instagram Reels

Step 4: Mandatory Requirements

When posting, participants must:

  • Tag @drinkbigi
  • Tag @SoundcityAfrica
  • Include:
    • Full name
    • School
    • Matric number
